Hey everyone, i was just wondering how many of you actually test for Chlorine/Chloramines periodically so you know how much dechlor to add? It's been my experience that many people just add the relatively common 1 tsp. (5ml) per 10 gallons and depending on where your water comes from, this might not be enough. (not trying to scare you or anything)

I checked my city's tap water report, then I knew how much dechlor I needed. It's minimal here in Nebraska, so the 'standard' dose is even a little on the high side.

I called up my water co. And asked what they add to the water to keep it clean, and because we are on a community well/reservior, They only add bleach once a year to clean the reservior. I do add dechlor though just incase.
