Anyone else seen their killifish eat smaller tetras whole? 'Cause mine just did. Right in front of my face too, it was sad and yet so so cool. I thought these guys were peaceful fellows, lol.

even a peaceful fish like a neon will eat anything it can fit in its mouth, i know im going to have to be careful when my BGK gets bigger, i got 12 total fish im going to have to be careful with when he gets bigger

killies can be evil incarnate. Ive had a couple that would eat tetras, but then ive also heard and seen others that seem to get along fine in a community tank.

I just read an article on top dweller fish in TFH (Nov issue) and it specifically describes killies as predators. Saying, do not put them in with smaller fish. So, I think neons are definitely on the menu if you leave them in there. Oh, killies also like to jump ... so make sure you got your top covered.
