So I have a 26 bowfront I want to turn into a small cichlid tank. I have a seapora circulation pump that's like 1100 gph and I was wondering if Cichlids would like that in a smaller tank, I have it on it right now because it currently has some danios/tetras/platys as they get moved around. I got it thinking itd oxygenate the water like a marineland one with the air tube would and well i was wrong it just pushes water around ? anyways yeah would Cichlids like it? Thanks

I'm not familiar with that type of pump, but if you can direct the current upwards or towards a corner, probably no problems. For a tank that small, might consider adding dwarf cichlids. Most of those types frequent the lower regions of a tank, so probably not bothered too much by the strong current.
