I know most of you guys say no to getting clams but i was wondering if it would be possible. I want to attempt to get an Asian Clam(Corbicula fluminea). I was going to feed them using Kent Marine Phytoplex for saltwater clams.Kent Marine PhytoPlex at PETCO
Think this would work? I forgot to mention my tank is low end brackish around 1.005SG. These clams are found in fresh to brackish water.

These clams also would need also need green water or some other form of free floating microlife.

Is there any supplement I could give it instead?

This is interesting. On live aquaria, they sell freshwater clams. Never looked into them personally. But yes, they filter feeders.

I have two clams and they are interesting creatures. I love looking at them. When I first put them in the tank they sunk in the substrate and stayed there for a month. I thought they had died. Then they came back up to the surface. Now they open a little and eat. You should get them.
