Congratulations! Good luck with the breeding. I've never had any success with frogs spawing to be honest.

Congrats....but the eggs are not likely hybrids....she was probably fertilised and waiting to deposit when you got her.

Nah- ACF's reproduce externally, and based on the fact that only one male has black "nuptial" pads for breeding, it's plain to see who the proud father is.

Oh yes, right (I deal so little with amphibia these days, and with Xenopus only as feeders)....might want to wake up before I start posting, eh?

I occasionally buy eggs by the 500-1000 lot from lab supplies, and feed them to my Polypteridae, one of their natural predators.
