clean up stock?

so since i am planing on keeping my guppies in the 10 gal which is all that i have in there at the moment besides pond snails, and i am starting a 20 long I figured it was time to think about clean up stock for both tanks.
I am currently having algae problems in my 10 gal planted which i am new to planted, i was wondering what stock might be helpful.

I am interested in RCS, but the guppies attacked the glass shrimp, so i was thinking about getting them for my 20l.

I also like the thought of corys but have never kept them before can they be kept with RCS? are there any kind of corys that would do well in a 10 gal?

you might want to try these guys there fun to watch dance around the tank up and down the side there kuhlii loachs the thing about them they need a school of them to be happy and you might not see them to much there nocturnal but then again mine are out day and night
