I just put in sand I guess I didn't clean it of good enough how long till the cloudiness goes away

I have used sand in my past two tanks and ive always found that to be really normal. I just always turned my filter off when I added the sand and then once all the sand settled start the filter up and throw some clarifier in there and it will be clear in the morning!!

It should settle out in a few days. Floss in the filter and a water change will speed up the process just don't disturb the sand when you refill.

No they'll be fine. Think about rivers and lakes after a heavy rain... Much worse than a little cloudiness
