The wife found 3 more dead lemon tetras this morning. She said a panda is on its way out too. I just hope that the pleco survives all of this.

Still sounds like Ammonia to me.. when you test, how long do you leave the tube before using the comparison card? Wait 10-20 minutes, even if the kit says it's ready for reading after 1 minute. Don't know what else to tell ya

If using the API kit, wait exactly 5 minutes. Any more or less can give incorrect readings.

Really doesn't matter how long I leave it. After about 2 minutes or so it get to its final color. I have watched it before to see what happens as time passes.
