I have a 20gal FW tank that has been up and running for 6 months...

Recently, the water got cloudy. The fish don't appear to be in any distress...I did a water change 2 saturdays ago and changed my filter (whisper) this saturday....Any thoughts?

Cloudy water is usually a bacteria bloom. did it get cloudy right after the water change? Any changes in feeding?

Over feeding and/or stirring up the bottom muck can sometimes lead to a bloom like this. As long as the fish are not in disteress it should turn out ok. however, I would do a 50% water change and not vacuum the gravel (unless there is a lot of uneaten food and/or mulm on the surface of the gravel.

My Mistake ...it's GREEN cloudy....
I used a packet of algone I had ...and it seems to be working...

I also had two deaths... my Pand Cory and My Common Pleco died.. The cory was dead for about 3 days or so ... I couldn't find him till I did the water change... Could that have been the culprit for the Pleco?
