Clown loach "theft"

Well, it felt like theft anyway. O Street Aquarium got a HUGE batch of small clown loaches in about 1 1/2 weeks ago, and is selling them for $4.99. That's the cheapest I've ever seen, so I had to grab a few. They've been in the tank since yesterday, and seem to be doing well. They are smaller than the one I already had, and he is making sure to establish his dominance. Two of the new ones follow him around quite a bit. The other mostly hides, but it looks like it is adapting to its new home just fine otherwise. Anyhow, just wanted to share my great bargain news.

Wow, that is cheap! I've had a couple small ones that were $8 each.

I got mine at 3/4" (Jeuv.) for 3/10$, so I bought 6 expecting a 50% casualty rate (I heard Jeuv clowns tend to die often).. well I still have 5, and they are all over 1" now, 2 are at 1.75" and growing.. who'ld have known..

If anyone close to Sac is looking for some, they have tons. Typical price for around here is $8-9.
