My mom wants clown loaches for her 60 but I tell her they get too big. She says she will get rid of them b once they out grow the 60. I think it's a bad idea but I wanted some feedback. How big could they get before I have to move them?

Stock is 6 angels, 1 Bolivian ram, gold guarmi, and a pleco that will be replaced by the loaches.

Also any suggestions on what I should get to keep my tank clean from algae? My pleco keeps it basically spotless and I don't want algae massive algae bloom when he leaves.

They do grow pretty big but they're slow growers from most accounts. She should be ready to move them up in a few years.

The more you get the happier they will be..
They are VERY social fish.
I think you and your mom could have several years before they need to be upgraded..
I have 12 in my 180g that are between 10 -16 years old...
None are much over 8 inches?
