Clown Pleco

So I've tried feeding my clown pleco zucchini, broccoli stems and bits of celery. He's eaten one slice of zucchini but he never touched it the second time I put it in or the broccoli or celery.

A) What does he eat?! All of those things I've heard from people here.
B) How do you feed them? I've been putting an elastic band around the pieces and a gravel piece so it sinks to the bottom.

b you cook it first? many people use suction cups with little clips. i have stuck plant weights though what i am feeding them to weigh it down.

I blanched the broccoli and it's funny you mention the suction cups cause i tried that with the second zucchini slice and i think it was barely touched.

Have you tried cucumber? I've also heard they like lettuce, but I've not tried that one first hand.
