clown pleco and cucumber?

I know they can eat a variety of vegetables. I was just woundering how to tell if they ate some? it is pretty small about an inch (so i doubt it would eat a lot of it) and a half roughly and its new to my aquarium.

Try veggies a few times, you should see them sitting on it eating away. After they realize it is food they will come to it pretty quickly after you put it in the tank.
