Common & Scientific name...

Does anyone know the common name for Neolamprologus cylindricus(?), or does it not have one?
And does anyone know of any small, freshwater fish that look like saltwaterfish?
Thankyou for any help!
Justin

Hiya zephyr

As far as i know it doesn't have a common name, Neolamprologus cylindricus use to just be called lamprologus cylindricus but as for common name i don't know but i will try and find out.
I will get back to you on this one.

Freshwater fish looking like saltwater, do you mean in shape or as in colour.

hiya Justin.

Had a little look around and basically all i could find out is that it is just called "Cylindricus" as it's common name.

Thanks for that Terry!
I mean mostly in colour. Do you know anything about Variabilichromis moorii or Moore's Lamprologus? I've found out it grows to about 2.75inchs, hard alkiline water, carnivious and tempretures of 75°-79°F, and It'z a nice bright blue!
If anyone has kept this fish, I would love some firsthand advice!
Thanks alot!
Justin
