Im looking to start introducing fish into my tank withing the next couple weeks once my tank finishes cycling, im just wondering if anyone has worked out wether it is better to have discus alone in a tank or discus and some bottom feeders. Also how many discus for a 130L tank

I don't know about the number of discus in the tank as I haven't kept them since the early 90's but I can tell you having a school of some dither fish, like rummynose or cardinal tetras will help the discus feel more secure. Without dither fish discus can often be very shy and stay hidden alot. The school of fish swimming around is a signal to the discus that it's safe to come out and swim.

I agree. A group of dither fish will do wonders in a discus tank. As for bottom feeders, look into Corydoras sterbai. They do great in warm water.
