Compatibility of Indian Dwarf Puffers with Dwarf Frogs
Hi All,
This is my first post here at AA. Lots of good info that is presented in these forums. Thank you so much. I am contemplating setting up my first aquarium... A 10 gallon freshwater with some low light plants. I definitely would like some dwarf puffers, I'm thinking around 3. I will also stock the tank with the Oto catfish because they are suppose to be compatible. My question is, do you think that stocking my tank with 2 or so african dwarf frogs will work with the dwarf puffers? I would hate to spend the money to have the poor frogs mauled by these fish! Thank you, -Brad |

Welcome to AA.
Ideally, dwarf puffers should be kept in a species only tank. Three dwarfs will dominate a ten gallon. I'd skip the frogs. They may do well at first but I don't think they would fare very well long term.
