Is there any type of fish that can live with red bellied piranhas? I have 2 which are about 5 inches and they always hide, therefore hardly any movement in the water. Just wondering if anything else can live with them.

Thanks

How big is your tank?? I had some Pygocentrus nattereri years ago that would eat pretty much anything I put in with them....they polished off cichlids, Corydoras, a large 'pleco' and other various and sundry fish. The only fish that ever managed to survive in the tank with them were Neon Tetras (Paracheirodon innesi), of all things! My guess is that the Neons weren't big enough to even count as a snack for the piranhas so they ended up being ignored altogether.
