”Screw this test kit, it’s the worst kit ever. The AP kit doesnt have a [acronym:7fbca64057="Carbonate Hardness"]KH[/acronym:7fbca64057] [acronym:7fbca64057="General Hardness"]GH[/acronym:7fbca64057] or [acronym:7fbca64057="Phosphate"]PO4[/acronym:7fbca64057] testkit so you can add it up.. $5-15 X3 ouch the AP kit isnt so cheap now is it tough guy.
I personaly dont like the [acronym:7fbca64057="power head or Measure of the concentration of hydrogen ions, depending on context"]PH[/acronym:7fbca64057] test kit color charts.. its very hard to read when you shut your eyes.” –Greenmaji

” I use the AP kit and never had a problem reading the [acronym:7fbca64057="power head or Measure of the concentration of hydrogen ions, depending on context"]PH[/acronym:7fbca64057] test. Nitrates are kinda hard when you get to the upper levels but, if your colors are that high, then you have more problems than the test card. Lol” –Fluff

Don't forget to add about $5-$7 to the price of the [acronym:94ebf7d2b0="Freshwater"]FW[/acronym:94ebf7d2b0] Master Test Kit, since it does not come with the Nitrate kit and you have to buy it separately.

*edit* Never mind, the Big Al's link says that it does come with the nitrate kit. Maybe they changed it, because mine definitely didn't include one.

Yup, I like the AP test kit better. It's very easy to use and accurate. The only complaints I have ever seen is on the Nitrates, but if you can't differentiate the colors, then the level is too high anyways. Do a water change.
