I'm seeking some advice re: my fiancee's fish. He recently(today) just lost his sick guppy that we had moved to a QT tank because it was literally looking like it was deteriorating (rotting, I have to say 
) from the outside inwards. A few days ago he was beautiful and by today he was "gangrene" looking and finally he succumbed. We did what we could (there's a post by "keeper" about it) but now we're worried about the other guppies in the original tank he was in---my question is, should we strip down the tank since one of the other guppies looks sick too? Or should we move the sick guppies to the QT tank? My worry is that the guppy that died today contaminated it, but if we have to change the water and cycle the tank it may be too long? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.
