converting fw to sw
Hi all.. I have a 55g Sw tank complete with lr and sand.. I have another tank to put the lr in. I'm going to make the fw tank for a few redbelly piranhas.... How hard is it to convert? any suggestions in general?

Take everything out rinse well and restart. You can not reuse the sand. The filter should be ok as long as you clean it well. Vinegar should help take off any salt stains. Be sure to cycle the tank before restocking.

Shouldn't be that big of a problem. You could use your sump. Probably just rinse everything that came in contact with the salt and everything should be fine.
