Hi all,

I currently have a tank which is having bad algae blooms / green water issues since I missed a cleaning a while ago.

I have heard that Daphia can help reduce / help the green water. I live in Australia and have been unable to find anywhere to get them at any descent price.

I have seen Copepods / Cyclops and am wondering if these will do the same as the Daphnias?

Thanks in advance.

Anthony

I would cut back on the lighting first and see how that helps with the green water.
I have not used one but a UV sterilizer would kill free floating algae.
Not sure if copepods would done the same job. I usually see them darting along the surfaces and only occasionally swimming in the open water.
