hi all,

my female corydora laid eggs today.. what a suprise! i really want to save at least some of them but my betta is having a field day eating them. the only other tank i have has around 30 guppy fry that are around a month old. if i put the eggs in there will the guppy fry eat the corys when they hatch?

thanks for any advice.

The guppies are probably old enough to eat the eggs and will. They will also be old enough to eat your fry. I would suggest another tank but you could try a tank divider. If you do not want to buy 1 make a DIY 1 like i do.

Many ideas over the internet, just do a google search:

depends on what is in your guppy fry tank... have any plants or decor you can hide the eggs behind? I'd risk putting them with the guppy fry first, because I *know* the betta will eat them all.

That is true, i would put them in with the guppy fry before the betta.
