Corys vs Otos

Whitch is better Corys or Otos?

In my opinion/experience, cories are far more hardy than otos. Cories spend their day scavenging the bottom for food and otos usually scavenge for algae. Both are schooling fish so make sure you look into that. I have cories in all of my tanks and they are amazing little guys to watch. However, whatever is best for you!

I have both and I slightly prefer the Cories! I do love my otos though. Since out of the two of them they did produce eggs

I also keep both in my 55 gal, they do different jobs.

They cant be compared, cory dig in the bottom for eatable things oto stick to the windows, it's apples to pears if you ask me. Corydoras are quite sturdy

I prefer cories. Otocinclus feed only on green film algae and wafers. Cories are hardy and easy to breed.

Lol i have corys and ottos but i like them both.

Corys because they have so much personality
And ottos because they are so darn cute!

They both do different thing. Otos work on the glass and plants. Corys work on the substrate. They never go to the glass or plants.
