Just purchased these two Bolivian rams and I see this little spot on the females tail, is this her color starting to pop or the pest parasite known as ich? I'm annoyed now.

Looks like ich to me... Sorry, good luck treating it.

Literally just put this fish in 20 minutes ago lol. Love them to death, and they're already starting problems

COULD be ich, but hey... can be a spot on the aquarium glass, a piece of debris floating around, etc.

I guess so. And there would probably be more than 1 ich spot if it was ich. I just got a bolivian ram 2 weeks ago. He is awesome, and I want to get 3 more! They are awesome little fish.

Yes they are awesome. These two seem to be pairing up just like I wanted. They've been making goo goo eyes since I got em. The spot has gone away now and I feel more secure. Thanks for the input guys

Turn the heat up slowly to 86, better safe than sorry.. looks like ich..

Looks like ich but do what brookster said, if it's only one or two spots it'll go pretty quickly.

The spots are gone now, is it really necessary? I have new plants in there I really want to get ahead of instead of left behind from mystery marks that disappeared
