Crayfish and senegals

HAs anyone kept a blue crayfish with a senegal bichir???

IMO it doesn't sound like a good idea. Senegals are bottom dwellers and crayfish will nip any fish/fins they can get their pinchers on.

more worried about the bichir eating the cray...anyone who has attempted it?

ive seen these videos too, but it looks like these are dwarf crayfish and the bichirs are a lot bigger than them....

my bichir is about 5-6 inches and the cray 3,5-4....

Then I wouldn't rule it out and keep an eye on them. I

for now i have the cray in a separate tank, but i think it would be perfect in a community tank, both for its colour and its behavior....i dont want to see his body parts in the bichir's mouth though

Yeah that would not be good xD! Dwarf crayfish are very pretty but I've just heard they can be quite mean to other fish.

Both are predatory bottom dwellers. Not a safe mix to my mind ?
