cucumber

I've heard that tropical fish like cucumber, I put a slice in my tank and nobody wanted any?

Did you blanch the cucumber? Most like their cucumbers blanched

Wrap it in a damp paper towel and microwave it for 15-30 seconds.

I tried the cucumber idea and only my barbs liked it. I boiled it for almost 5 minutes to soften it. Does it take some getting used to for the fish or do they not like it?

It depends really on what type of fish you have and what they're dietary needs are.

3 angels two barbs and a pink gourami and 4 Amano shrimp. The barbs will be out soon though. Cleaning and getting ready for some yoyos and what not.

The mollies will eat it once they figure it out it is food. The rest are mostly carnivores.
