How large is the container, and where did you obtain your worms?

QTOFFER has started an aquarium
A friend of mine used to get earthworms from his veggie garden to use as fish bait. Every week, he would sprinkle some grass clippings in the garden. This formed a thin mat that kept the earth beneath it warm and moist. We would roll back a small section of this mat like a carpet, and harvest dozens of fat, juicy worms. I don't see why you couldn't propogate earthworms the same way in a greenhouse. You would need a group of starter worms and a large container of well drained, organic-rich soil that you could keep warm and moist.

Right now I buy all my mealworms and crickets at the [acronym:ef9ccba579="Local Fish Store"]LFS[/acronym:ef9ccba579], but I dig my earthworms out of our flower and garden beds.
Particularly from under the birdfeeders under the dropped seeds and leaf mulch. My wife and mother-n-law have been getting mad at me for digging in their gardens (I only dig in one or two spots ), so I told them to make me a wormbed along the fenceline and they agreed .
