Cut up moss ball

The friendliest place on the web for anyone with an interest in aquariums or fish keeping!
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
Yes it will survive. Moss balls survive independently. The individual pieces will grow at a rate of 5 cm a year

I heard it doesn't root in, you just tie it with fishing line and it eventually grows until it's unoticeable

I'm not sure if these will upload sideways or not so sorry if they do! It's hard to tell from my phone.

The first one is my driftwood with a small piece of Marimo tucked into a hole.

The second picture is about a month later. It's not exactly what you're thinking of doing but it might give you an idea of how fast it might spread.

Hrm. Double posted. I'm terrible at doing this from my phone. I'll get the laptop next time. Sorry the first is so blurry. I didn't have any other older photos that focused on that portion.

Anyway, very minute growth but it does grow!
