I finally got my 75 gallon up and running. I currently have 10 juvenile mbuna in there. I used one of the Aquaclear 110's off my 55gallon, as well as took some of the rocks I'd been "seasoning" in the 55. I set the tank up Thursday, added the fish Friday, and tested the water today (Saturday). The results are: pH 8.4, ammonia 0-0.25(my water always tests positive for that because of the chloramine my city uses), nitrite 0, and nitrates 5-10. It looks like the filter and rock addition was enough to instantly cycle the new tank, but how long should I wait to be sure? I plan to test daily for the next week or so, but should I hold off on adding any more fish? ImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1457210328.853897.jpg

The fish might not have produced enough waste yet to raise ammonia levels. Yes, your best bet is testing often for the next few weeks just to see what happens.
