I finally got my 75 gallon up and running. I currently have 10 juvenile mbuna in there. I used one of the Aquaclear 110's off my 55gallon, as well as took some of the rocks I'd been "seasoning" in the 55. I set the tank up Thursday, added the fish Friday, and tested the water today (Saturday). The results are: pH 8.4, ammonia 0-0.25(my water always tests positive for that because of the chloramine my city uses), nitrite 0, and nitrates 5-10. It looks like the filter and rock addition was enough to instantly cycle the new tank, but how long should I wait to be sure? I plan to test daily for the next week or so, but should I hold off on adding any more fish?
