DIY Water Testing anyone?

Oh Snap!! Look what I just Downloaded from the EPA for free. Probably not worth it in most cases. However...If someone (Cough Cough) loved chemistry and wanted to design a specific test for a certain range this might help.

WARNING: 500 page PDF 16MB

Yes I think so. Unless this turns out to be way cheaper or I need to design a test for a certain range. I was thinking a freshwater K test might be nice. Also...have to see if they have one for Mercury, Cadmium, and Aluminum. They are very toxic to aquatic life but no test available that I am aware of. Might explain some of the mysterious water of death cases.

Would be a nice thread to track down what exactly is so bad with US tap water every so often it seems. Will have to start asking people what they use as water conditioner as well.
