DIY Water Testing anyone?

Yes I think so. Unless this turns out to be way cheaper or I need to design a test for a certain range. I was thinking a freshwater K test might be nice. Also...have to see if they have one for Mercury, Cadmium, and Aluminum. They are very toxic to aquatic life but no test available that I am aware of. Might explain some of the mysterious water of death cases.

Would be a nice thread to track down what exactly is so bad with US tap water every so often it seems. Will have to start asking people what they use as water conditioner as well.
