I was wondering if Kuhli Loaches dog in fine grained gravel? I have Eco Complete fine grained gravel and some black plant sand. The sand is below the gravel.
Do Kuhli Loaches dig in fine grained gravel?

They don't dig, they sift through it like Cory catfish do.

Okay. I have read on various websites that they dig, but I couldn't imagine them doing it. Thanks for the info.

they will bury themselves if its not to compact so yes they "dig" but yours might be too compact for them to do so. when i had mine in gravel they would bury themselves under it and disappear completely but now that i have sand its too compact for them to do so

If the Kuhli loaches would happen to bury themselves the water would get cloudy due to the type of gravel I have. I will probably stick with Cory Cats.
