Is it possible for fancy guppies and feeder guppies to live happy PRODUCTIVE lives together?

Absolutely--that's how fancy guppies became (become) fancy guppies, through cross-breeding, cross-breeding and more cross-breeding. Of course, your fancy guppies will probably get a little less fancy... Most guppies will mate, and in fact guppies can even mate with platies (and I think Mollies)!!!! I saw the offspring at the [acronym:846e6efffa="Local Fish Store"]LFS[/acronym:846e6efffa] recently. Pretty cool...

I have 4 neon blue tux guppies and one feeder guppy and they all live happily together.

Doesn't it depend on which is the mother and which is the father? I thought I heard that somwhere, but I could be completely mistaken.
