Thanks but I was hoping to get some info from someone who has kept them successfully .

The best thing to do is research then narrow down your questions. Instead of asking 'what do they eat?' Ask 'so, I read they only eat live, has anyone fed there's pellets?'. Or 'I read they only live in pH .... But I have pH of ..... Will this matter?'

Okay well I had one once and it didn't survive for more than a month or two, I tried to feed it blood worm it wouldn't eat them. I tried earth worms and it wouldn't eat them.

I was wondering if anyone had kept them and if so what they fed theirs.

Years ago I fed mine live Tubifex worms. These days I'd try Black Worms or small crickets.

They need a lot of surface area. Like a 40g Breeder tank. And either no tank mates or only select ones.

In a 75g it may work. Both like live plants, esp floating plants.
