So i just bought a new ten gallon aquarium at walmart thats gonna need a new filter but i have an idea for it. I am thinking of breeding guppies and RCS in it. Is this a good idea? It will have a lot of plants and moss.

So long as you do lots of pwcs and lots of filtration
Divide it so it's about 2 gals to 8 gals with a peice of large mesh big enough for shrimp and fry to get through but not guppies
That way fry can go hide
Be sure to cycle

If it is not divided, the guppies will eat the RCS juvies. If you have lots of cover and plenty of RCS to start the colony, the colony will still grow... but a lot of shrimp will end up as snacks.
