I kinda hijacked the other thread, so maybe I need to start a new one to get a response. Either that or nobody knows the answer. My new-used 29 gallon aquarium has some condensation on the inside of two of the seals. I have read up on instructions for re-sealing an aquarium but since you don't actually seperate the pieces of glass, how can this solve the problem of condensation inside the joint??? My tank has been holding water without leaks for a long time, so does it really need repair? And would I be able to only repair the two joints that are affected?

I noticed this as well on a smaller take my girlfriend got me. I'd like to know if it's sometihng to be concerned about.

Although that sliver of air within the joint will not be filled by the silicone from a new sealingl, the new silicone will seal it off from the water, keeping moisture from entering the fissure.
