drip acclimation method??

I may be wrong about this but I read in another thread that you can use a tube and an airstone to acclimate fish. Is this true? Im assuming that you would put one end of the tube in the fish tank over an airstone, so the bubbles push the water up through it. Then you put the other end into the new fish's bucket or container. If a siphon started I think you'd need a clip or something to pinch the tube and slow down the flow.

That is one way. Or you could tie a not in the tubing, and start a suction from the tank to the bucket or whatever
