dwarf African frog
I have a dwarf African frog that I got a couple weeks ago. I recently bought a cave-like decoration which he quickly took to and stays in all the time. In a beginner's fish book I got, it says they eat flake food but I've never seen him eat anything. Do they normally come out to eat as fish do or do they secretly grab a bite that's fallen to the gravel when nobody's looking? I feed tropical flakes and dried blood worms twice a day. When I bought him, his back looked normal and flat but now, when I see his sillouhette in the light (he never leaves the cave) it looks as if he has a huge hump on his back. Could this be from not eating? He's in the tank with 4 neon tetras, a gourami and an algae eater.
