yeah so i dropped one of my 2 really large snails, i was cleaning the tank, and stoped to check him out, and my dog jumped on me and he went falling. he got a pretty bad crack, i saw someone post they glued old pieces of shell on the crack, just to be careful about not getting anything on the snail. so i just performed the first snail sergury in my house! Hopefuilly this worx!ill take some pics of te repair later, but for now some crack.

putting calcium as well as fresh veggies in should really help the snail out, actually its vital to his life recovery

Good luck! Like hc8719 says, CALCIUM! and keep the water clean with your ph over 7.2. The combo will help with regeneration.

hell yeah i hooked him up before i left but here are the pics he looks good, but hes hanging out around the top of the water... i feed him some cucumbers, i can use the 3 day feeder tabs things right? for calcium?

you may, for good measure, use some clear nail polish to cover the patchwork. Just make sure not to get any on the skin and be completely dry before putting back in the tank. Looks like you did a good job, so it probably is not necessary, it would just be extra.
How is the little darling doing anyway?

well in pandas defense(the dog)she dosent know any better and shes supposed to be the princess u guys know how small dogs get, and by the by she knocked him outta my hand she didnt bite at him. But yeah hes moving around quite a bit, they demalished the cucumbers last night.

lol, ok non takin. the first set of pics are the crack thathe got, the second set of pics is the shell after i covered the crack with extra shell bits(the fix if u could call it that).

Nah, the snail doesn't have any feeling in the shell. I doubt it will even notice the extra pieces.

It might feel heavier. Not much, but to a creature that small, weight is weight. I'm glad to see he/she is doing better. Eating and moving are always good signs.
