Eclipse System 6 Conversion

I picked up an Eclipse System 6 for cheap the other day. I'm planning on going planted with it, but the previous owner had used it as a salt water tank. my question is, can i use the same bio wheel that he used??

Clean it out really well and replace all media with new and you will be fine.

yeah, i've got new media.. and i figured the salt would be okay too, just felt better asking before.
