I noticed my 55 gal tanks silicone is shredding and peeling.. baby drops are bound to come out. What is a good temporary storage for my live fish so that i can repair the tank for a few days. Please help.

I do not have any other tanks available. =(

How old is the tank? Can you see bubbles in the silicone where the glass panels meet?

A sterilite bin would work. There are stories of the sides bowing out when filled with water so either put something on the sides to put pressure on them and prevent them from bowing or don't fill it up all the way. I got a 30 gallon/120-something quart one at target for ten bucks.

No bubbles at the moment. Not sure bought it off CL.

drain it now! Rubber maid bins will work as long as you add filter and heat.
