Egg rocks from lowes

Anyone used these in their aquarium? I picked up a bag yesterday and used all my vinegar cleaning my coffeemaker

Not here - had to look it up. I assume they aren't dyed otherwise may be ok (pending vinegar test). We have some egg rocks in pots for fake indoor plants and they look more like quartz or something very hard to me.
