I have a tank in my office at work with Black Bar Endlers, Orange Sakura Shrimp, and one Mystery Snail. Lately I've noticed that when the snail comes out of hiding, just about every endler in the tank gathers around it and starts picking at it. They didn't used to do this and I'm not sure why they are doing it now. I feel bad for the snail. Any thoughts? Should I just rehome the snail? Here's a slightly blurry picture of what is happening (they all scatter if I get too close).

I was going not to, since he keeps the glass clean. Any thoughts as to why they might be doing this?
