Endler's livebearers
Hey everyone, I know of someone who is looking for Endler's livebearers, and wants to find both males and females. Can anyone recommend a website from which this person can order both sexes?
Also, what can you Endler's keepers tell me about them, just out of curiosity? They look pretty much like fancy guppies to me; what is the difference? TIA

Endlers are a very easy fish to keep. The males are about the most colorful little fish one can find. They breed constantly and are great for strain breeding. I find them more interesting than guppies by far. Care needs to be taken when ordering many have guppy/endler mixes. I would recommend checking out http://www.endlersr.us/. I currently have a tank full of the spunky guys.
About the best place to order is from Adrian at http://www.swampriveraquatics.com/ |

Endlers have always reminded me of the feeder guppies you find in stores, but a good strain can be a beautiful fish.

Thanks for the info. Lepomis, I checked out those sites a little bit, and I would agree that Adrian sells some really beautiful fish! I will definitely pass this along.

There are some people are various forums selling trios of Endler pure strains as well. Not sure how their prices can compare.
If you wanted to sell them in the future, make 100% sure they never come in contact with any other type of fish they can inbreed with (ie other guppies). Very, very few people would want them then. |
