Fancy guppies?

Anyone know if fancy guppies the same as normal guppies just bred to look better or just a different type? If so is it possible to selective breed normally guppies to make them look fancy?

I thought so. So if you kept breeding them and picking the best looking two each time would they look better or just end up inbred. Don't want three eyed fish

Well, let's say you start with two black Moscow guppies. You choose the best fry and go to a different store and pick up a guppy of the opposite sex that you like. Then breed them. Continue that, but always buy from a different line that is not related.
