Killifish is a Duch word that means steam or brook but otherwise they are basicly small colorful fish that come from africa and the amazon basin.

Yes, what is a fillifish? Inquiring minds want to know!
I chose Anabantids -- the labyrinth fishes.
I would add Plecos to your list. Right now, someone who wanted to vote for pleco has to vote for catfish. This way you would have a better tally of the votes between plecos and catfish.

Anabantoids! Second favorite - catfish.

Current fish (includes all 3 running tanks): Polypterids, severums (of which I raised from eggs), gouramis, plecos (gold spot ones & a gurupa), loaches (zebras, yoyos, & a kubotai), macculocchi spotted silver dollars, an African butterfly fish, & Ctenopomas (a leopard & an ansorgii)

It doesn't mean anything really in dutch, just a name like you guys use it.
Sorry for nagging.
My favorite? Hard call, cichlids or catfish or plecos. But my favorite fish is keyhole cichlid....offcourse :P
