Favorite freshwater fish

Piranhas. Unfortunately I don't have any as my mom is scared of them. +(

i want piranhas,but my parents wont let me get a big enough tank

1. Ottos - bought them for a diatom problem and they became so much more than I thought they would.

2. Threadfin rainbows - got large school of 20 and I have fallen in love. So beautiful and playful.

+1 for ottos!! I too brought them solely for diatoms problem. But I feel in love with them quickly! One of my favorite fish now

Red tailed black shark, mine hates everything and has way too much personality, he should breath air so he can chill out of the tank

my favorite for the longest time is angelfish...just love their swimming techiques and how inquisitive they are. another fish that I love, possibly more than my angels, is my German Blue Ram...my girl happened to stumble across this fish a few weeks ago at our lfs and I've fallen in love with him. he will swim a few inches then "spring" his fins out! esp his mohawk fin lol
