Feeder fish
I just bought 70 rosey reds (small feeder fish) and tossed them into my feeder tank and noticed just a few of them had white spots /bulges.
I took a needle and pokes one of the white bulges and removed the white goo and to my suprise the goo was inching out , it only made it about 1/2 a cm before it died. Is this a parasite and can this harm my cichlids who have been eating the infected roseys. |

It seems likely that this is infectious. Is there any non-live food you can feed for awhile? You can reduce thier exposure by stopping the feeding now.
If you can find out what kind of parasite it was, you may have a chance to stop it from reproducing in the main tank or the feeder tank.
