Hi all,
I have a snail, beta and a sunburst platy in a 5 gallon tank. I keep trying to feed the sunburst but the beta keeps eating all the food. I don't have a clue if the snail eats at all...is there a way to feed them so the beta doesn't take all of the food? Thanks for the help.

Think ya may be over stocked there but food wise ya can get algae wafers for ya snail or some vege like lettuce or cucumber

one way is to distract the betta with a little food while you give some to the platy. if you see some food on the bottom of the tank, that's all you need to feed the snail with

Thanks. I 'm beginning to think im overstocked as well. The girl at petsmart recommended it but the sunburst isn't to happy in the smaller confines. I ill try the distraction route. Thanks.
