Feeding bottom feeder pellots

I know 3 minutes is the general rule of thumb for flakes but what about bottom feeder pellets? About how long should you let them stay in the tank and have fish munch on them? Thanks!

That is a good question. I put in a couple and see how long they last. You can then adjust from there. Some bottom fish will eat after lights out so keep that in mind when you plan your feeding schedule.

I just keep mine in until they are gone. I don't use the 3 minute rule for pellets/wafers. Just don't put a lot in, unless the fish are gobbling them up.
